Ginger Cookie, 2012 - 2026
Every pet is special - there is no question, no exclusions, no exceptions - they are all precious, every single one of them. This little lady was absolutely special.
In speaking with her family the day before she closed her little eyes, we shared tears and we shared laughter. 'Ginger' was a part of her family for nearly fourteen years and her impact wasn't a slight one. She was tiny in stature, but her impact was huge. She has left a mark on her humans lives and pawprints on their hearts forever.
Chatting with family members at times of pet loss opens doors of communication that likely wouldn't happen otherwise. Thoughts are shared and many little tidbits of their beloved pet come to surface and we are often told the finer details about these pets, which we love. Some things just stick in your mind and are not soon forgotten, such is the case with this little girl.
'Her name was Ginger unless she was misbehaving and then she was referred to as 'Ginger Cookie Arsenault!' We all know when they get middle named complete with a surname to go along with it, they're up to a little bit of mischeif! Who doesn't love a sweet little Ginger Cookie - it's one of those things we won't soon forget at Peaceful Paws. We are so honored to be let in on all the little treasures of our families beloved pets. Thank you for sharing with us.
Ginger's family shared from their hearts - through many tears, mind you - about this little lady that changed their world and brought their family together.

Ginger; 2012-2026.
Ginger was a loved member of our family for 14 years. She was our "Baby Girl". We couldn’t have asked for a better addition to our little family. Loyal, faithful and never left us bored.
Ginger kept us busy playing toss, chasing her treat ball, puppy massages or just chillin'. She kept us entertained chasing squirrels along the fence and keeping the crows out of the backyard.
Ginger had a happy smile and gave great hugs. You could always count on one whenever you got home or just on demand if you asked for one.
Ginger loved taking us for walks. She was very insistent to keep us moving twice a day. Rain, snow, sleet or hail she made sure we got our exercise. Ginger loved our little journeys and always chose a different route each time so we wouldn’t get bored.
Her favourite human foods were McDonald’s french fries, Pizza and Timbits for a sweet treat.
Ginger brought lots of love and joy into our home and will be remembered always as a loving family member.
Even though Ginger is gone, she will continue to be with us in our hearts and thoughts.
Never forgotten and always loved.
Mom, Dad and Big Brother
